The family of software includes Vectorworks Designer, Architect, Landmark, Spotlight, Fundamentals, and Renderworks, and its users number at more than half a million. Nemetschek Vectorworks has been developing CAD (computer-aided design) software since 1985, and now has editions for architects and engineers, and for the construction, entertainment, landscape, and urban planning industries. For the purposes of this article, I will be reviewing Vectorworks Designer.įirst, a bit of background: Nemetschek Vectorworks is a subsidiary of the European software company Nemetschek AG. To get started, I worked my way through the installation and then into learning and using the software. If you have tried all these steps, and your registration code still produces an error, there will be a 5 digit code next to the registration field. In your plug-in registration, nnnn-nnnn-XXXXXX-nnnn, XXXXXX should match the last six characters of your Vectorworks serial number. Make sure your Vectorworks seat registration is correct.(Except for the Savvy Section product code, SO.) If you use the arrow key to move to the ends of the field, you may catch the extra characters. If copying and pasting in your registration code, make sure there are no spaces or carriage returns at the beginning or end of the field.You can purchase an upgrade to a full version of the plug-in.
